Making Dreams Of A Forever Family Come True
Every child deserves a loving, stable home, and through the process of adoption, we strive to make that a reality for children in foster care. By meeting these children and learning about their needs, we can connect them with families who can provide the love, care, and support they deserve. Adoption is more than just a legal process, it’s about creating lasting bonds and helping children feel secure, valued, and part of a forever family.
Key Adoption Flags
When considering adoption, it’s crucial to be aware of key flags that may influence your journey. Understanding these factors ensures that prospective adoptive parents are well-prepared and informed about the complexities of adoption and any ongoing processes that may arise.
Legal Risk
Legal risks may arise if parental rights aren’t fully terminated or if there are ongoing legal issues with the birth family. These can include delays, reunification efforts, or unexpected changes in placement plans.
Flex Family
A flexible family is open to children of different ages, backgrounds, and needs, providing a loving home to those in need. Their adaptability helps ensure successful placements and smoother adoption processes.
Local Only
Local-only focuses on placing children with families within the same geographic area, ensuring easier transitions and ongoing support. This helps maintain stability and strong community connections for the child.
Partway Free (50%)
Children considered 50% free for adoption are those whose parental rights have been partially terminated but not yet fully finalized. This status brings legal uncertainties, as remaining court decision are still in process.
